Miss Tess performs in the Radio Heartland studio

There was probably never any doubt that Miss Tess would decide on a career in music when she grew up — especially because her parents were and are both working musicians. Throughout her life, Miss Tess was exposed to all kinds of music and was even "forced" on stage to sing with Mom and Dad at a very young age. Her influences range from blues, jazz, Dixieland, country and Southern soul.
Miss Tess has been writing, performing and recording her own songs for over a decade now, and with a recent move to Nashville, she has released a new album called Baby We All Know. Tess and her trusted sidekick, Thomas Bryan Eaton, stopped into the Radio Heartland studio to play tunes and to chat.
