You can't believe everything you read on TMZ. The Bremer Trust, temporary administrators of Prince’s estate, have refuted a report that they plan to sell Paisley Park. Though the trust did file a petition on Friday asking for permission to sell properties including Paisley Park, the trust says that at present, "Bremer Trust, the special administrator for the Prince Rogers Nelson estate, has no plans to sell either Paisley Park or the property referred to as the 'Purple Rain' house." Prince's sister Tyka Nelson, one of the presumptive heirs of the estate, added in a post on Facebook, "Please don’t believe Everything u read… Paisley is [Prince's] home…I will do Everything in my power (through God) 2 make sure that u will continue to experience the awe inspiring presence of Prince for years to come."

Leonard Cohen said goodbye to Marianne

A friend of the late Marianne Ihlen has revealed that Leonard Cohen wrote an emotional final letter to Ihlen before her death, of leukemia, on July 29. Ihlen and Cohen were romantically connected for seven years, and Ihlen inspired Cohen songs including "So Long, Marianne," "Bird On a Wire," and "Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye."

In the letter, Cohen wrote, "Well Marianne it's come to this time when we are really so old and our bodies are falling apart and I think I will follow you very soon. Know that I am so close behind you that if you stretch out your hand, I think you can reach mine." (Rolling Stone)

Songwriter Richard Fagan has died of liver cancer at age 69. Fagan was the author of numerous country hits, notably John Michael Montgomery’s chart-toppers "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)" and "Be My Baby Tonight." Singer Ricci Martin has died of undetermined causes at age 62. The youngest son of the legendary Dean Martin, Ricci Martin released a solo album in 1970; in recent years, he regularly performed in a show paying tribute to his father. (Billboard)

Dozens injured in rap concert railing collapse

Dozens were injured on Friday night in Camden, New Jersey at a concert by Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa. A security barrier collapsed at BB&T Pavilion when enthusiastic fans rushed forward toward the stage; approximately 50 fans fell ten feet onto a concrete pathway, and the performers subsequently curtailed the concert out of concern for attendees' safety. Blues Traveler postpone shows over health concerns

Blues Traveler have postponed a series of shows due to an urgent health concern that's compelling frontman John Popper to undergo surgery. "It is with profound regret and acknowledgement that out of necessity I must go under the knife for surgery and I mean fast. It seems that there is an issue with my spine that if treated quickly will ultimately have me up and running in 2 weeks. If neglected as it has been, it would be far worse to the point of paralysis so need to take care of this now," said Popper in a statement. (Billboard)
