"Dear Ms. Jackson," wrote Bruce Springsteen, "Xabi has been out very late rocking & rolling. Please excuse him if he is tardy!" The nine-year-old attended the Boss's Tuesday night concert in L.A., holding a sign that read BRUCE, I WILL BE LATE TO SCHOOL TOMORROW. PLEASE SIGN MY NOTE. Not only did Springsteen comply, he invited the young fan and his dad backstage after the show. (Billboard)
Go-Go's plot goodbye trek
"After a 38-year run, we are gearing up for one last blast of a summer tour," write the Go-Go's. The band say that their upcoming summer tour will be their last ever, and they've invited kindred spirits Best Coast and Kaya Stewart to open for them.
