Who was the white-haired woman who danced with Bruce Springsteen during "Dancing in the Dark" at his Monday night Xcel Energy Center show? It was 91-year-old St. Paul resident Jeanne Heintz, a longtime Springsteen fan who's attended over 100 of the Boss's shows and previously danced with Bruce onstage in Des Moine in 2008. This time, E Street Band member Steven Van Zandt gave Heintz an assist and helped make sure a reprise happened. (Star Tribune)

The Rolling Stones have announced a free show in Cuba, making them the first British band to play a show in the island nation — and the highest-profile act to perform in Cuba since the country's 1959 revolution. The March 25 show will be filmed for later release, and the band promise to play both "classic Stones hits" and "special gems." (Rolling Stone)

Prince seems to be loving his stint in Oakland, Calif. After playing two sold-out shows at Oakland's 3,040-capacity Paramount Theatre, he's announced a third Oakland show — solo on piano, like the first two — Friday night at the Oracle Arena, capacity 19,596. (SFGate)

100,000 records in Hopkins

Mill City Sound owner Rob Sheeley has scored a trove of 100,000 brand-new vinyl records from a Texas record store that closed in 1984. Sheeley, who paid about $100,000 for the cache, had to build "vast" new shelving to hold the acquisitions at his Hopkins, Minn. record store. A 1968 MC5 record might the the rarest item in the cache. (Star Tribune)

Mavis dishes on Prince, Dylan

In a new interview, Mavis Staples talks about working with Prince and her past crush on Bob Dylan. "Working with Prince was beautiful," said Staples, "but I had to stop because daylight kept catching me up. We’d stay up all night singing and I would leave Paisley Park in the morning."
