9:30 Coffee Break: City Geography
by Jill Riley and Sean McPherson
July 27, 2015
Today we got this request from listener Mark in Minneapolis. Mark writes, "I was walking into work today and Pet Shop Boys' 'West End Girls' was playing and it occurred to me, there have to be a bunch of other songs that talk specifically about one side of town or something similar."
That's a great idea, Mark; thanks for your Coffee Break theme suggestion. As it happens, there are a lot of tracks that reference city geography, neighborhoods, parts of town and so forth.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that are about a section of a city? Send us your requests.
