Teenage Kicks celebrates the music video

This week marks the anniversary of two events that changed the way people listen to and enjoy music: In 1979, Rolling Stone magazine noted the "newest selling tool for rock" was the music video; and in 1986, Peter Gabriel went to No. 1 with "Sledgehammer," a video that would go on to win nine MTV awards in 1987.
To commemorate these developments in music, the playlist on Teenage Kicks is built on MTV's greatest music videos of all time. I've posted some examples below. Scroll down to watch, then share some of your favorite music videos in the comments section.
