About his album, Chase the Sun, singer-songwriter Greg Holden says, "I want people to listen to this album and think, 'Where the hell did this come from?' I would love them to really pay attention to the words in these songs. I'm hoping that if they do, they will have some kind of meaningful reaction. That's what I would love."
Holden's single, "Boys in the Street," is just that kind of song. "Boys in the Street" premiered on The Current on April 30, and it tells the story of a tense relationship between a young gay man and his father. The poignant lyrics and moving story have quickly made the song a gay-rights anthem.
On June 17, Holden released the video for the song. Directed by Brett Sullivan and produced by Steam Motion and Sound, the video is just as moving as the song.
