Saturday at 8 p.m., a boxing match being billed as "The Fight of the Century" is set between welterweight boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. The boxing world is buzzing about this match because Pacquiao is an eight-division world champion and Mayweather is an undefeated, five-division world champion.

But the attention being paid to this upcoming boxing match reminded us that a lot of songs contain boxing references. Sometimes the reference is literal, other times a songwriter will compare unrelenting tenacity or agonizing heartbreak to the challenges faced in the ring.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, we're thinking about pugilism in songwriting. What songs do you want to hear that contain references to boxing in the lyrics? Send us your requests.
