Doomtree perform before a live audience in MPR's Forum

Minnesota's own Doomtree visited MPR to put on an intimate and exclusive live performance, hosted by Mary Lucia. It was a vital part of their #LastBlowoutEver. "Every year, we want to outdo everything we've done," Sims says.
The interview portions were relaxed and full of fun and laughs, and the music performances were loaded with all the energy and passion fans expect from Doomtree.
Pulling back the curtain, the members of Doomtree even break down the creation of the song, "Gray Duck"; they play a handful of early stems and recount their experience in a cabin on a lake where they finished the song, which, at various times in its development, had such names as "Cheesy Crusty" and even "Christian Slater".
Watch video and listen to audio of the performance, hosted by Mary Lucia.
