Movie Maven: 'The One I Love'
September 05, 2014
MPR's Movie Maven Stephanie Curtis joins Steve Seel and Jill Riley to talk about a new film starring Elisabeth Moss, Mark Duplass and Ted Danson.
Moss and Duplass play a couple seeing a therapist (Danson) who assigns them a unique version of therapy to help save their marriage. According to Stephanie, there's a bit of a Twilight Zone twist to it. "It's such a great little movie," she says. "There are so many films about people meeting and fall in love; there aren't many movies that explore married life and what goes into it … it makes you think about your own life."
And for music fans, the title is a reference to the Mamas and the Papas rather than to R.E.M.

The One I Love is rated R and is playing at the St. Anthony Main Theatre in Minneapolis.
