Yesterday in London, reclusive singer-songwriter Kate Bush played her first show in front of a paying audience since 1979—and it was, by all reports, a stunner. The first of 22 shows planned for the Eventim Apollo, it was a multimedia experience devised with the help of musicians, actors, puppeteers, the writer David Mitchell (Cloud Atlas), and others. Though the setlist didn't include her best-known song, "Wuthering Heights," it did include full performances of the entire second side of her 1985 album Hounds of Love and the entire second disc of her two-disc 2005 album Aerial. Neil Young has filed for divorce from Pegi Young, his wife of 36 years. Pegi Young, also a singer-songwriter who's released three solo albums since 2007, has frequently collaborated with her husband and inspired songs of his including "Unknown Legend," "Such a Woman," and "Once an Angel." In 1986, the two founded the Bridge School for children with severe physical impairments. A representative for Neil Young had no comment on the reasons for the split. (Rolling Stone)

Sheila E. has released a new video for her song "Lovely Day," a single from her 2013 album Icon. On Sept. 2 the famed drummer, 56, is set to release her memoir The Beat of My Own Drum; rumor has it that the book will confirm longstanding rumors that at one point Sheila E. was engaged to Prince. Jeremy Messersmith isn't the only music notable taking an icy bath to fight ALS: Rick Rubin accepted Eminem's challenge by getting completely wet and passing nominations on to Frank Ocean, Vincent Gallo, and Owen Wilson. As our colleagues at Classical MPR noted, Rubin nabbed a tape loop from minimalist composer Steve Reich to soundtrack the chilling video.

Stevie Nicks has released a lyric video for "Lady," a reimagined version of a demo originally recorded with Lindsey Buckingham; the song will appear on Nicks's forthcoming album 24 Karat Gold. (Consequence of Sound)

Facing a lawsuit by a Berlin restaurant called KING KHAN UND BBQ, King Khan & BBQ Show have reverted to their original name, Bad New Boys. The new Bad New Boys have released a video for "We Are the Champion," the title track from their new album. They'll be at First Ave with Black Lips on Sept. 17. (Consequence of Sound)

Bob Dylan announced that on Nov. 4, he'll release a six-disc set containing 138 tracks that are described as "every salvageable recording" from the legendary Basement Tapes sessions with the Band in 1967. (Local Current)
