Theft of the Dial: Aisha Tyler
October 31, 2013
Aisha Tyler is your best friend. Or at least you want her to be. She has great taste in everything, and she's incredibly talented, too. Not only is Tyler an established director, actor, comedian and TV host, she also has an enormously successful podcast... so it's no big surprise that she excels at being a Theft of the Dial guest on The Current.
Tyler, who hosts the wildly popular daytime show The Talk, is a multimedia powerhouse. In addition to the talk show, she gets into so-called guy stuff (booze, explosions, video games) in her successful podcast Girl on Guy.
What a lot of folks don't know about Ms. Tyler is that she's an avid music fan. She loves a few bands so much that she even made her own music videos for them. (Note the first two songs in her Theft of the Dial set.)
Aisha Tyler will be in St. Paul this Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, performing as part of Wits with host John Moe and musical guest Loudon Wainwright III. Tickets are still available for what promises to be an outstanding performance.
