9:30 Coffee Break: Split Personality
July 31, 2013
Most songs have a set theme and style. There may be a bridge that changes key, but for the most part songs feel like one consistent world that exists for 3 minutes or so. Listener Kevin from St. Paul, gave us the idea of songs that have a shift around the middle of the song that radically change to almost a completely different song.
Thanks for the suggestion Kevin. How about putting together a list of songs with split personalities? Give us your suggestions for songs that switch at some point to sound like a completely different song.
Songs Played:
Paul McCartney - "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey"
Radiohead - "Paranoid Android"
Death Cab for Cutie - "Different Names For The Same Thing"
Fleet Foxes - "Helplessness Blues"
Foxygen - "Shuggie"
