9:30 Coffee Break: Bugs
May 13, 2013
A recent article suggests that everyone in the world should eat more sustainably by eating what is plentiful. What is that? Lettuce? Red Peppers? Nope, insects. They are full of protein, and are entirely sustainable.
We may not be running out to find some bugs to eat today, but we can play some insect-based music for today's 9:30 Coffee Break. Give us suggestions for songs about bugs.
Don't forget to sign up to win Peace Coffee, Birchwood Cafe treats and some lovely music from Frankie Lee at your workplace. Jill and Steve will bring you a Coffee Break on the Road, all you have to do is let them know why they should at: CoffeeBreak@TheCurrent.org
Songs Played:
The Cramps - "Human Fly"
The Flaming Lips - "Buggin"
JD McPherson - "Fire Bug"
Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians - "Madonna of the Wasps"
Lucinda Williams - "Honey Bee"
