Julia Sweeney and host John Moe at Wits.
MPR

Julia Sweeney is a comedian and writer best-known for her stint on Saturday Night Live in the early '90s and for her hilarious, thoughtful and moving monologues detailing her relationships with her family and the intertwined process of becoming comfortable with atheism despite her devout Catholic upbringing. Just last month, she released a new book, If It's Not One Thing, It's Your Mother.

Julia Sweeney joined singer Martha Wainwright for an edition of Wits back in November, and while she was in town, she stopped by The Current studio to chat with Barb Abney and take over our airwaves to play a few songs.
