Theft of the Dial: Mayor Chris Coleman
by Jill Riley and Peter Valelly
April 26, 2013
Forming a sort of shaky but somewhat apt analogy to the relationship between the two Twin Cities, St. Paul mayor Chris Coleman maintains a lower (and more strictly-business) profile than his across-the-river counterpart R.T. Rybak, but is no less beloved by his city's denizens. Seven years and nearly two terms into a successful mayorship, and with an election for another term approaching this fall, Coleman is a very busy guy. That's why we were so thrilled that he managed to squeeze in a stop by The Current studio to chat with the Morning Show's Jill Riley about this year's election, his love of St. Paul, his lifelong love of The Who and much more. Plus, he got a chance to take over our airwaves to play a few of his favorite songs old and new for a special and surprising edition of Theft of the Dial. Thanks, Mr. Mayor!
