Formed out of a personal tragedy, The Ericksons united sisters Bethany and Jenny with a relocation to Brooklyn. With that move, they played music every night together, finessing a brand of melancholic folk that often provides warmth when you least expect it.

With The Wild, The Ericksons have created their most accomplished work yet. They holed up at Justin Vernon's April Base Studios in Fall Creek, WI, and were united with members of Field Report and producer Beau Sorenson. It's not surprising that their creative and emotional energy has earned them ravenous fans in the Midwest, but also abroad.
