Theft of the Dial: Cold War Kids
by Barb Abney and Peter Valelly
April 16, 2013
Long Beach, Calif.'s Cold War Kids have been reliably cranking out smart, nuanced indie-rock for the better part of the last decade. They've honed their craft over the course of four full-lengths and many EPs. Their most recent LP, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, is quite possibly their best release to date.
While in town for a show at the First Ave mainroom, the quartet stopped by The Current studio to chat with Barb and take over our airwaves to play some of their favorite tunes, featuring an eclectic mix of tunes old and new.
