Henry Rollins — legendary Black Flag frontman, spoken word artist, writer, activist and so much more — is in town for tonight's Wits™ alongside musical guest Lissie.
Before he headed over to the Fitz to get ready, Rollins dropped by The Current's studio for a typically candid, thoughtful and entertaining interview with Mary Lucia, touching on topics ranging from today's tragedy in Connecticut to this week's Hurricane Sandy benefit and beyond.
There are many highly poignant, and carefully chosen words from Mr. Rollins, but none ring so true as: "This begs communities to act like communities: look out for one another, listen to one another, and be there for one another."
