Policy and a Pint: Entrepreneurship
by Steve Seel
October 10, 2012
During this election season, you've heard candidates talk a lot about "small business" — and so for this Policy and a Pint, we thought we'd talk to some Twin Cities entrepreneurs about the rewards, and struggles, of striking out on your own in these tough economic times.
Does a new generation of American worker need to be thinking more about creating its own unique products or services when the struggle for jobs is tougher than ever? And how does government help, or stand in the way?
Steve Seel discussed these topics and more with guests Kevin Beacham from Rhymesayers Entertainment, John Oulman from the 331 Club, Amsterdam Bar and Hall and Jon Oulman Salon and Ryan Petz, President of Fulton Beer. The result was another lively discussion over the usual tasty beverage.
Policy and a Pint is presented by 89.3 The Current and The Citizens League, and is sponsored by Best Buy.
