Pat Donohue In Revue

Pat Donohue knows a thing or two about the building blocks of American music. He's often thought of as a master folk guitarist, but his real love is the blues...and jazz, and swing, and bluegrass...just to name a few genres.
His well-rounded talent is why he's been a member of the Guys All Star-Shoe Band for so long, and why he continues to play concerts all over the country and teaching guitar when he's not touring with A Prairie Home Companion.
On March 12, 2011, Pat called up some of his friends to do a show at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, and to pay tribute to some old musical legends that had a hand in a medium that was to become "radio". Joining Pat on stage that night were Butch Thompson on piano, Stuart Duncan on fiddle, Noah Hoehn on harmonica, Joe Savage and pedal steel, Peter Johnson and Gary Raynor of the Shoe Band, and Roma di Luna.
