Carbon Sound is partnering with North Loop’s Berlin live music bar & restaurant for a residency. Each Sunday in January, local artists and DJs will bring the proper vibes to stave off the Sunday Scaries. It’s a great excuse to get out of the house in the cold, dark month, too.

Alexis Rose

Alexis Rose is a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on DJing and graphic design. Her sound is energetic, deep, and ethereal. With roots in R&B, hip-hop, electronic, indie, jazz, and alternative music, she blends her inspirations seamlessly into a new age feel. From deep house to UK garage, Alexis knows how to work a room. Her passion for creating has no boundaries. Alexis has played some of the most notable parties in Minneapolis, including Communion, House Proud, and Selects. Obi Original

Obiora Obikwelu, also known as Obi Original, is a Nigerian producer and artist. Surrounded by music for all his life, he finds inspiration from all genres yet fiercely believes that Africa is the home of music, causing him to form Ozone Creations. Creating a home for Afro-Fusion within the United States has been a dream for him, and he is ecstatic to show the world what he and others are capable of creating.
