The Walkmen

The Walkmen is a rock band formed in New York in 2000. In the late ‘90s, the guys constructed an analog recording studio in an abandoned Nash Rambler factory in west Harlem, where they self-recorded their first album, Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone. They went on to release a total of seven studio albums and several EPs, and “The Rat” became a signature single. In 2013, the band went on hiatus, and several members, including lead singer Hamilton Leithauser, launched solo projects. Now, all of the group’s original members have reformed for the Revenge Tour.
