The Current’s annual free Rock the Cradle event for kids and their grownups to explore music, art and culture returns Sunday, March 12, at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and Children’s Theatre Company.
In addition to annual favorites such as the Kids’ Disco, and YourClassical Storytime, there will be a DJ set from a Current DJ, K-Pop Performances and Choreography Lessons with Cypher Side Dance School, pop-up performances from the team at Brains On!, and live music from Koo Koo Kanga Roo, TaikoArts Midwest’s Taiko Group ‘Enso Daiko’, The She’s Burgers, and more. Join us for all of this, and more on March 12! Rock the Cradle is perfect for kids up to age 8.

Event Details
Stroller Parking: Kids’ Disco (CTC Cargill Stage), Mia Pillsbury Auditorium (Near Regis Fountain), Mia Reception Hall (MacMillan Atrium).
Event parking is $15 in ramp. The MIA parking ramp adjacent to CTC is currently under renovation, and has limited availability. Street parking can be found around MIA and CTC.
Bag Check: Bags allowed into the galleries will be tagged, large bags will be required to be checked at the 3rd Avenue entrance or the entrance at the Target Wing.

An ADA accessible seating area is located in the Reception Hall for performances taking place there.
