This week, we’ll play new music from the string band Twisted Pine from their new record, Love Your Mind. We also have a new recording from Andrew Bird and Madison Cunningham. They’ve reimagined the music of Lindsay Buckingham and Steve Nicks from the 1973 debut album, Buckingham Nicks, with their own take on the same tunes on an album they call Cunningham Bird. We’ll also celebrate Radio Heartland’s 16th birthday by playing a few pieces from the final Morning Show broadcast back in 2008 with Dale Connelly and Jim Ed Poole, recorded live at the Fitzgerald Theater. The Radio Heartland stream was born that very morning.
