This Saturday is the 45th anniversary of Talking Heads’ Fear of Music – there is a fan theory that many of the song titles can be prefaced by “Fear Of” – e.g. Fear of Cities, Fear of Air, Fear of Animals, making it literal “Fear Of” music – although as Steve Seel once said, “so where does that leave I Zimbra??”

This week on Teenage Kicks, join host Mac Wilson as he plays some selections from Fear of Music, as well as marking the 51st anniversary of Stevie Wonder’s Innervisions, and marking some anniversaries involving eclectic artists including the Cars, Def Leppard, and Tears for Fears.
