I am fresh back in Minnesota from a whirlwind trip out to Los Angeles, catching the Cruel World Festival this past weekend. I saw Simple Minds, Gary Numan, the Motels, Ministry, the Mission, Placebo, Interpol and loads of others live, but one band — Duran Duran — headlined the festival. That's exactly who we're going to be spotlighting this week. I've called myself a megafan — aka a Duranie — for over 40 years, and I think it'll show on this week's program.
