This week, the Time Machine goes back to 1994, year of Green Day's first major-label album. Rick Rubin produced a big record for Tom Petty. Tori Amos had a massive hit that sounded like part of this nutritious breakfast. Nirvana famously unplugged in New York, and Jeff Buckley gave us one of the most beloved covers of all time.
