It’s 1996 this time. Fugees scored big with their album, The Score. Beck dropped his best yet. It was a huge year for second albums, with the Wallflowers and Cake releasing the most successful albums of their careers so far. Johnny Cash issued his second album on the American label. Debuts came from Fiona Apple and Jay-Z. There were phenomena like the Spice Girls and the Macarena in the same year. It’s all 1996, our year on this episode of Time Machine.
