We have a special show for you; February is Black History Month, and for this installment, the Time Machine stops in 1967. The Jimi Hendrix Experience dropped their debut album. In Detroit, Motown was becoming the sound of young America, with big hits from Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, and Diana Ross. Big things were cooking at a little studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where Aretha Franklin recorded much of the music on her best album yet. It’s all 1967, our year on this episode of Time Machine.
