Lucius perform intimate #MicroShow for The Current
by The Cactus Blossoms and Lucius
March 06, 2017
The Current's #MicroShow series gives listeners an unprecedented chance to see great live shows with big name artists in small, unique venues. At each show, attendees are able to see outstanding artists in a room much more intimate than you might experience at a ticketed event.
This time around, The Current hosted a private #MicroShow with Lucius in the newly renovated Minnesota State Capitol rotunda the night before their appearance on A Prairie Home Companion.
Lucius performed songs off their Good Grief (2016) and Wildewoman (2013) albums, brought out Minnesota's Cactus Blossoms for a take on the Drifters' "Save the Last Dance," covered the Grateful Dead and brought the audience to tears with compelling harmonies during their stripped-down set. Watch video of their "Dusty Trails" performance below, or stream the entire set with the audio player above.
Songs Performed
"Go Home" / "Don't Just Sit There"
