Coffee Break: Remembering Monty Lee Wilkes

by Anna Reed

August 29, 2016

Last weekend Monty Lee Wilkes, a reputable Twin Cities sound engineer and tour manager, passed away from terminal cancer.

Wilkes had a 30+ year career with highlights including managing Nirvana's "Nevermind" tour, and while on tour with The Replacements, being called to the stage to play bass for Tommy Stinson when he was arrested for public intoxication.

Help us remember Monty Lee Wilkes with a 9:30 Coffee Break. What songs do you want to hear from bands that Wilkes worked with?

Read more about Wilkes and the bands he worked with here.
