Take The Current's 893 Essential Albums Data Quiz
May 12, 2016
Counting down the 893 Essential Albums — as submitted by you — has been a fun and fascinating experience. Not only has it given all of us (hosts and audience members alike) a chance to hear a whole bunch of great songs, it's also provided a number of interesting statistics.
We've also really enjoyed the way you have embraced the countdown, and the many ways people are collecting the information from the list by sharing it with friends and trying to mash some numbers on this whole 893 Essential Albums endeavor. And then there's the person who's created the BotJillRiley on Twitter, who tweets out a number whenever Jill's voice announces one on the radio — that's generated a lot of laughs, including from the real Jill Riley herself.
Here in the office, we've been crunching some numbers, too, and we've found some statistics we thought you'd find fun and insightful. And because you've been following along so faithfully, we thought we'd deliver these stats in the form of a quiz.
Here's how it works: Read the question below, then scroll down to the quiz form to enter your answer in the corresponding blank. We'll send you an email with your answers, along with the answer key.
The quiz is just for fun and may not be perfectly scientific, so simply enjoy — and good luck!
