After charming everyone in the room during The Current's 11th birthday celebration, it's no surprise that Bad Bad Hats have made it to the top this week. Lead singer Kerry just wrapped up her stint as our Local Current DJ in residence, telling jokes and reminiscing about her days on Macalester's student station.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win tickets to Jason Isbell's show at Northrop on Monday, Feb. 22!

Another birthday act, the Cactus Blossoms, are one of the highest movers this week: up 12 places to No.8. They return to the Turf Club, the site of their live album recording, for two shows on Feb. 12 and 13.

Santigold is the highest new entry at No.9. Her new 99 Cents album releases Feb. 26 and she just announced a U.S. tour including an April 16 show at Mill City Nights.

Dr. Dog, new at No.14, release Psychedelic Swamp on Friday. It's a re-worked, reissue of their first release. Not many bands revisit their old work before they were famous! And their website's graphics take us back in time, too.

The Arcs are back this week with the third song from Yours Dreamily to chart. They head out soon for a "West Coast Caravan" tour on April 11 and recently helped NPR celebrate their 500th Tiny Desk concert!

Lucius will be back in town March 23 at First Avenue, after their new album Good Grief releases March 11. They're born again chart denizens this week, just outside the teens, at No.20!

Haley Bonar of Gramma's Boyfriend (No.11) started her Minnesota music career in Duluth with a little help from Iron Range legends Low, down to No.16 this week. The Current started it's Duluthian history on Monday at the new frequency of 90.9 FM. You still have time to enter for a chance to win a Duluth prize pack including The Current goodies, and Electric Fetus gift certificate and a year-long Red Herring pass, so tell your friends up north!

Monday, Feb. 15 is Grammy's night and our resident expert Mac Wilson will be live-tweeting during the awards presentation and helping me on-air to keep up with all the happenings. Our No.2 artist will be celebrated by Lady Gaga during the proceedings, apparently.
