Carson McHone almost always knew that songwriting was going to be her chosen career. In her high school English class in Austin, Texas, she found that writing came easy, especially when her teacher taught a course on songwriting.
A few years later, Carson found herself singing in the recording studio with Ray Wylie Hubbard on a track from his latest album, The Ruffian's Misfortune.
Carson has been touring heavily for the past few years on the strength of a self-titled EP and is about to release her first full-length album on vinyl.
Carson McHone was in the Twin Cities recently and brought her band into the Radio Heartland studio for a few songs.
