One of the big stories from the world of media and entertainment this week is the news that Jon Stewart will be leaving Comedy Central's The Daily Show after 17 years as its host.

Often called "the most trusted name in fake news," Stewart has become one of the most prominent figures in American political satire. Beyond The Daily Show, Stewart has enjoyed success as an author — his titles include the 2004 best-seller America (The Book): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction — and as a director of the recent film Rosewater, a true story of a journalist held hostage in Iran.

Stewart grew up in New Jersey, was a Division I soccer player at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, and he's a big Bruce Springsteen fan.

Asked about what's next for him, Stewart recently said, "I'm gonna have dinner — on a school night! — with my family, who I have heard from multiple sources are lovely people."

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, we're thinking about Jon Stewart as he approaches the next chapter in his life. What songs would you play for Jon Stewart?

Songs Played

Aaron Neville - "Tell It Like It Is"

John Lennon - "Gimme Some Truth"

English Beat - "Can't Get Used to Losing You"

Bruce Springsteen - "Born to Run"

The Beach Boys - "God Only Knows"
