1) Free agents can't officially sign in the NFL until Tuesday, but there is big news in Vikings land already. The team is reportedly going to re-sign QB Matt Cassel and defensive end Everson Griffen. Jared Allen, meanwhile, had told the Vikings he won't be coming back next year.

2) Tweet Sunday night from Minnesota State Representative Pat Garofalo: "Let's be honest, 70% of teams in NBA could fold tomorrow + nobody would notice a difference w/ possible exception of increase in streetcrime." He's getting hammered pretty hard for that nationally.
